ABOUT
The period from birth to six years old is one of remarkable brain development for children and represents a crucial window of opportunity for education. UNESCO believes early childhood care and education (ECCE) that is truly inclusive is much more than just preparation for primary school. It can be the foundation for emotional well-being and learning throughout life and one of the best investments a country can make as it promotes holistic development, gender equality, and social cohesion.
VISION
Anganwadi centers play a crucial role in early childhood development by providing a nurturing environment for young children. They offer age-appropriate learning materials, activities, and nutrition to ensure that children receive a strong foundation for future education and personal growth. By focusing on the formative years of 0-6, Anganwadis contribute to building a brighter future by fostering cognitive, social, and emotional development from an early age.
OUR PURPOSE
“Empowering 70 million children and 20 million women across 1.37 million Anganwadis in India , aligning with the Honorable Prime Minister’s vision for Swacch Bharat, Beti Padhao, Beti Bachao, and Startup India. This initiative involves outfitting anganwadi’s with televisions for e-learning, solar panels for dependable power, ensuring access to safe drinking water, and providing clean sanitation facilities along with the modern learning material.
FEATURES
- We offer a wide range of ECCE/Anganwadi materials, teaching aids, and educational toys for ECCE that are essential for ECCE.
- Creative wall (BaLA) painting.
- Multi-purpose and multi-domain to foster holistic development—all domains such as sensory, fine and gross motor, cognitive, social, emotional, personal, and creativity need to be fostered.
- Safe for children (non-toxic material and colors, smooth edges, and large enough to prevent swallowing).
- Durable and sturdy.
- Culturally and environmentally appropriate.
- Easy to view.
- Posters and conversation charts should be placed at eye level for children.
- The sensorial educational toys help introduce the five senses to the child.
- The Anganwadi Center is equipped with approximately 100 items designed for children aged 0–6 years. These items include soft toys, furniture, play materials, and educational materials.
